NOMINATION – EMPLOYEE

Employees are the key to a store’s success. They are a customer’s first line of contact. Their attitude, sense of responsibility, and actions make a difference in their stores. It’s about celebrating employees who go above and beyond on a daily basis.

I exceed established performance goals
The candidates meet established goals, exceed expectations,and strive for efficiency through their winning attitude. These results-oriented employees find new and innovative solutions.
Example:Nicolas tirelessly looks for solutions to improve his own efficiency. He does this by managing his time well, and thus sets an example for his teammates. Recently, he took the initiative to clean the back room. This let us review the layout and improved his efficiency when replenishing the grocery section. His initiative reduced the time required to complete this task.
Thanks to Nicolas, all cashiers are properly trained. This greatly improves efficiency, bagging, and inventory management in the department.
I provide an exceptional customer experience
The candidates deliver an exceptional customer experience, meaning they strive to exceed expectations. The candidates must demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness in their interactions with customers. They need to respond to customers quickly in difficult situations. Their actions, behaviour and decisions must prioritize the customer’s needs and interests. These candidates are customer service role models.

I contribute to a great employee experience
The candidates stand out because of their positive and motivating attitude. They actively contribute to a great employee experience by driving initiatives that improve their teammates’ well-being.
Example :Nicolas is someone you can count on to create a pleasant atmosphere in the store.
In the store, Nicholas is known to be a good listener. He welcomes new employees by including them in the group.Nicholas is also involved with employees; for instance, he leads the employee social committee.

 

I am involved in the community
The candidates stand out because of their strong commitment, desire and pride in serving their community. They want to make a difference.
Example :In his neighbourhood, Nicolas is a volunteer soccer coach at a youth centre. He looks for ways to make a difference, offering his time and sharing his passion for soccer. 
Tomorrow’s leader
Tomorrow’s leader will have set himself apart by his exemplary attitude, in addition to being a source of motivation, as well as a model of passion and integrity for his peers.
This person is a force to be reckoned with in his or her team and store, just as he or she knows how to rally and motivate colleagues. They stand out for their outstanding achievements, particularly in terms of career advancement and progression, contributing to the store’s success. This person stands out as an inspiring successor for the store’s future.Example  :Nicolas started out as a clerk in the produce department. Right from the start, he showed a keen interest in team management, notably through his proactive attitude and concern for others. He quickly made a name for himself and was offered the role of assistant manager in the produce department, then finally, a few years later, that of manager in the same department. Always available for his colleagues, he doesn’t hesitate to offer advice, motivation and coaching. We know that thanks to him, the store will continue to excel in its execution.
